Installation is a breeze - simply unscrew the rear axle, pull out the axle rod, re-insert the rod through the large hole in the bicycle hitch, and reinstall the axle through the rear wheel. Make sure to tighten the axle nut with the bike hitch pointing down and away from the wheel. To remove, pull the axle out of the rear hub and hitch, replace the axle into the rear wheel, and secure tightly.

Please note that this hitch will not fit bikes with a 12mm rear thru axle or internally geared hub, which require an additional adapter. Ensure that your original Thule trailer hitch matches this style.
